Education Support - Daniela

Bethesda Family Ministries is partnering with Daniela and her family to assist with transportation and educational expenses over the next two years. Daniela has shared some of her inspiring story below:

 

"Hello! My name is Daniela and I grew up in a private foster care home in Romania. After graduating from high school, I had the opportunity to move to the United States and pursue a college degree. I was fortunate enough to live in Houston, TX for the first two years and attend Lone Star College to obtain my Associates Degree.

 

"After I graduated, I moved to Plano, TX and applied for OPT (Optional Practical Training) which allows me to work for 12 months in the US. I was able to get a job at Starbucks Reserve, which I’m very excited about being that it is my first job. I plan to start applying to local colleges in January. Once I finish my OPT program, I hope to return to school to obtain my Bachelor’s degree. My goal is to be able to work and save up money for the future. As part of that journey, Bethesda Family Ministries is assisting with transportation and educational expenses.
